Brandon Kahoush is a partner in Fisher Phillips’ San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices, and is a co-leader of the Life Sciences Industry team.  He represents clients in single plaintiff, class action, California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), and trade secret matters.  Much of Brandon’s legal practice focuses on day-to-day advice and counsel of general compliance matters, including handbooks. 

 

Brandon has represented clients of all sizes, from small businesses to Fortune 50 companies. He has worked with employers in numerous industries including agriculture, construction, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, transportation, and technology.  Within those industries, he regularly represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including those involving discrimination and harassment, wage and hour violations, Labor Code § 132a, breach of contract, wrongful termination, retaliation, and unfair competition.

 

Brandon is an experienced lawyer and regularly represents clients in federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), and California’s Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE).

 

In addition to defending his clients in litigation, Brandon often counsels employers on preventive litigation practices, focusing on how to comply with applicable labor and employment laws, avoid workplace disputes, resolve employee relations problems, and satisfy legitimate employee expectations.  In Brandon’s free time, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Five Buckets Foundation.
