Marci Trevino is a Human Resources Executive and compliance strategist with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning nonprofit, corporate, public, and private sectors. She is recognized for bridging the gap between HR, law, and executive governance, helping organizations translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable strategy and measurable results.

​

As a multi-industry HR leader, Marci has built scalable infrastructures, led multistate and international operations, and directed HR, legal compliance, and audit functions for organizations ranging from emerging startups to Fortune 500 partners. Her executive roles include serving as Vice President of Human Resources across private, public, and nonprofit organizations, where she oversaw workforce strategy, policy development, and regulatory compliance in healthcare, technology, finance, and education.

Earlier, at the University of California, Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business, Marci partnered with faculty, SME's and organizations of all sizes to design executive and education programs to integrate actionable solutions and compliance literacy, leadership development, and business transformation into applied learning models.

As Founder and Principal of Higher Resources LLC, she advises organizations on risk mitigation, HR modernization, and governance frameworks that align people, technology, and policy. Her consulting work centers on operational efficiency, HRIS integration, and sustainable compliance systems that support growth, audit, and workforce readiness.
